Naviera Armamex is a Mexican corporation established 1977, with more than three decades of experience in the operation and maintenance of Tankers and Offshore Support Vessels. Throughout our history we have been actively involved with projects that promote the development of our society. Our specialization is to provide maritime solutions to our customers’ projects.
Armamex was founded to provide transportation services for petroleum products in the Gulf of Mexico. Due to it specialization on shallow draft vessels, ARMAMEX became the main supplier for fuels in the Yucatan Peninsula. Nowadays, our versatile fleet of Anchor Handling Tugs, Supply Vessels and Deck Barges, along with the knowledge, professionalism and the passion of our staff for delivering on our promises, make us your local partner with world-class experience.
Armamex is headquartered in Mexico City with offices in Tampico, Ciudad del Carmen, Dos Bocas, Campeche and Tuxpam. Our representative agencies are based in Mexico’s main ports including Coatzacoalcos and Veracruz. In addition, we have a maritime terminal and a shipyard in the port of Tampico, where we perform maintenance works for both our fleet and third-party vessels. In order to have a closer relationship with our international customers, Armamex has established a filial company in the USA, Armamex International, Inc., located in Houston, TX, where we offer consulting services for offshore and chartering businesses in Mexico.
